Day Fourteen: 14 Sept 2010, 21:58

Today was another academic day, but I've been really tired.  I kept falling asleep in Old Testament and while I was trying to work on my homework (both this afternoon and this evening).  We had an orientation about Egypt, which was exciting because it's going to be a freaking awesome trip but really annoying because it lasted an HOUR AND A HALF: basically they gave us a bunch more rules and precautions to keep us safe and healthy (which I know is for my own good, but that doesn't mean I like listening to it for so much time aagh!).  I'm way excited to see the Pyramids of Kufu, Kafre and Menkaure--and no, I DIDNT have to look those names up! :)  We also get to stay in a couple pretty nice hotels, so hopefully the experience will balance out all of the rough stuff and hopefully I won't get diarrhea lol.

I took a nap this afternoon instead of going out and getting money like I should have, then went to my Near Eastern Studies: Arab Civ class.  The teacher is still super hard to understand, is very sporadic, and putting together what he's trying to say requires all of my thinking abilities.  It's tiring!  Anyway, I had dinner with Megan and worked on homework after that, swapped stories with some friends, and kept getting distracted lol.  Now I want to play chess and go to bed, so I think I will.  Tomorrow should be another busy day.
