Today was mostly academic. We started the day with a two-hour Old Testament class, mostly discussing Abraham's story. Bro. Judd (my professor) knows a lot about the history and geography of Israel; it was nifty to listen to, mostly because of a new perspective gained by actually BEING here. I also went to another class, Near Eastern Studies, and we discussed the geography and names of this area. It's going to be a neat semester; I'm glad I get to learn about this stuff in the heart of where it's all happening. Unfortunately the rest of the day we all had to stay here because we couldn't go out into the Old City or East Jerusalem (it's still the month of Ramadan), so I just chilled here (I mostly slept this afternoon...oops haha). I just got back from a dance that the activities committee put together, lol it was like most Mormon dances. Oh, and randomly--it's SUPER bright here when the sun is out ;)
I'm gonna go do some homework and go to bed. Tomorrow should be interesting, it'll be our first Sabbath experience here. I'm going to try out the choir and see how it goes, no doubt sacrament meeting will be neat too because of the view. Anyway, till tomorrow. 'Night
